Birth is a huge experience in which one’s relationship with the body can change significantly and permanently. So how do we respect and nurture the body after such a major change? In this workshop, midwife Chloë Lubell will talk about herbs that can improve postpartum healing from lacerations, exercises for those lax muscles, addressing issues of breast/chest feeding (whether they originate from latch or supply), as well as a number of other concerns in the postpartum period such as postpartum depression, placenta encapsulation, anemia, mastitis, and more.
